Top IDP Waiver Wire Adds Week 10
Tennessee Titans at Pittsburgh Steelers

What was predicted to be a close Thursday Night Football game, turned out to be true. The Steelers defeated the Titans 20-16 and now have won three of their last four games. The Steelers may have found themselves a win, but the Titans did find themselves a franchise quarterback.
Unlike the Falcon game before this, this was a stinker but Will Levis did show franchise throws and kept this game close despite meh numbers. This game went back and forth, and both teams suffered terrible injuries. At the end of the day, the Steelers got their fifth comeback win of the season which is already a franchise record and we are only halfway through this season.
IDP Takeaways Tennessee Titans
Azeez Al-Shaair in the last five games has logged 99.5% of snaps and is averaging 12 tackles per game. Rostered in just 22% of leagues means he still is available in shallow leagues.
Jeffery Simmons not only had 2 sacks but also 6 tackles. If that was not good enough, he gave us a forced fumble! Start the man every single week despite being behind a DT he is matchup-proof.
IDP Waiver Wire Tennessee Titans
Jack Gibbens is rostered in just 3% of leagues and continues to produce. In the last six games, he averages above 70% of snaps and produces 6.5 tackles per game. That is strong LB2/LB3 numbers in most league formats which is what you want.
Amani Hooker is a top-flight safety you could play most weeks and he is rostered in just 5% of leagues. Rather unknown to some, he plays 100% of snaps. He is a must-roster in tackle-heavy leagues, although he doesn't give you much outside of that stat.
Terrell Edmunds worked his way up to 85% of the snaps played so it looks like the Titans will be using him going forward.
IDP Takeaways Pittsburgh Steelers
Both T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith had 2 solo tackles each along with three sacks between the duo. A decent night but we expect so much between these two weekly so might be overlooked.
Joey Porter Jr. shadowed DeAndre Hopkins. He did have four penalties, and one gave the Titans a late-game chance to win it. Still, we don't see that here in IDP, looking at the stat line is what we do in that regard. Porter lined up against Hopkins on 26 of his 36 assigned routes, achieving a 72.2% shadow rate. The result was holding Hopkins to just one catch for 17 yards so quite the big deal. He also delivered three solo tackles.
Damontae Kazee had 7 tackles, 4 of which were solos in a solid day's work. Like Porter, he filled a key role exactly when the team needed him to in Minkah Fitzpatrick's absence.
IDP Waiver Wire Pittsburgh Steelers
Due to Cole Holcomb's (like season-ending) injury, and being carted off the field, Elandon Roberts (4% rostered) took advantage and stepped his game up achieving 4 solos, 5 assists, and 1 forced fumble.
He was joined by another injured replacement for Minkah Fitzpatrick, Keanu Neal (2% rostered) who was second with 7 solos, and 3 assists. the two were a nice team-up and complemented each other completely.
Cameron Heyward (22% rostered) came back from injury too and produced instantly with 6 tackles and 4 assists. I have seen him on waivers, which is crazy due to impatient owners so he is an immediate pickup even in leagues that do not have DT requirements.
For deep dart throw leagues, defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi will give you 4 or 5 tackles a game and is worth the look.
Miami Dolphins at Kansas City Chiefs (GERMANY)

IDP Takeaways Miami Dolphins
Zach Sieler played a season-high 93% of the defensive snaps in Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs. He collected seven total tackles, two QB hits, and recovered a Patrick Mahomes fumble. His seven combined tackles are tied for the most he has registered in a game this season. His stats are impressive considering the Chiefs have given up the fewest fantasy points to defensive tackles this year. Sieler is thirteenth in our scoring on a per-game average.
That is now four straight games with a sack for Bradley Chubb who now has six total sacks on the season. He registered three combined tackles, one QB hit, and a strip sack against Patrick Mahomes. Bradley Chubb has been on fire and it would be hard to bench him during this hot streak but unfortunately, the Dolphins will be on their bye next week.
Jaelan Phillips has been on a hot streak himself with a sack in each of the last three games. He appears to be fully healthy and is playing at the breakout level many in the IDP community had projected. Miami’s bye week is the only thing keeping him out of your starting lineups in Week 10.
Xavien Howard and Jalen Ramsey were on the field together for the first time this season. They allowed four catches on seven targets, for only 21 yards. Kader Kohou was targeted nine times by the Chiefs. Kohou is still the cornerback to roster in Miami, but his 65% defensive snap share is a little bit concerning. It’s something to keep an eye on as he played at least 94% of the defensive snaps in the previous five games.
IDP Waiver Wire Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins are on a bye next week, leaving little to choose from, Kader Kohou is still a solid streaming option in future weeks.
Zach Sieler is a solid streaming option in DT-required leagues, but he is most likely rostered in many league sizes.
Eli Apple isn’t a streaming option going forward unless an injury at cornerback occurs.
Andrew Van Ginkel has lost most of his value with a healthy Jaelan Phillips back in the lineup.
IDP Takeaways Kansas City Chiefs
Trent McDuffie had a big day with a season-high 10 total tackles including eight solo tackles. He wasn’t done there, he also forced the fumble that was returned by Kansas City for a thrilling touchdown. McDuffie is now tied with Bradley Chubb and Myles Garrett for the league lead with four forced fumbles. He isn’t in “Peanut” Tillman territory just yet, but he is heading in the right direction. McDuffie has been one of the best fantasy cornerbacks this season and should continue to be heavily streamed and the team’s Week 10 bye.
Willie Gay was able to play in this game, but his snaps were a bit limited. He managed four solo tackles, one tackle for a loss, and forced a fumble while playing only 25 defensive snaps. He has an extra week to get healthy with Kansas City going on their bye week. Expect to see his snaps go back up in Week 11.
Chris Jones recorded at least one sack in each of his first five games, but that feels like forever ago. He managed only one assisted tackle to go along with a QB hit against Miami and has failed to record a sack in the last three games. His lack of production has left a sour taste in fantasy managers who weathered his contract battle to begin the season.
IDP Waiver Wire Kansas City Chiefs
There isn’t much left on waivers to pick up from Kansas City with them being on a bye next week. Cornerbacks L’Jarius Sneed and Trent McDuffie should both be rostered in all CB-required leagues, but keep an eye out if one gets dropped next week.
Bryan Cook scored the defensive touchdown in this game, but he only managed four total tackles against a great safety matchup. He isn’t a waiver priority.
Minnesota Vikings at Atlanta Falcons

IDP Takeaways Minnesota Vikings
Jordan Hicks had a busy day with nine solo tackles, two assisted tackles, two tackles for a loss, one QB hit, one pass deflection, and his first sack of the season. The nine solo tackles were his season-high. Hicks has at least eight combined tackles in all but two games this season. Hicks is a low-end LB1/high-end LB2 on the year. His consistency has made him a weekly automatic start in most leagues.
For only the second time this season, Danielle Hunter wasn’t able to register a sack. He did grab a season-high nine tackles and added a tackle for a loss. His high tackle volume makes up for the lack of sacks this week. Hunter’s 10 sacks are still leading the league. The opponent doesn’t matter at this point, Hunter has been matchup-proof. He is a must-start every week.
Camryn Bynum had a season-low four total tackles this week. The matchup looked great on paper but it just did not manifest for fantasy managers this week. He has had such a fantastic season that an off week is forgivable, as long as it doesn’t become a trend. He is still the top-scoring safety by a sizable margin and should continue to be started in all leagues.
IDP Waiver Wire Minnesota Vikings
Akayleb Evans had a solid game this past week and is a decent streaming option if the matchup is right. The Saints are giving up the fifteenth most points to cornerbacks, so he would be a decent stream this week.
Harrison Phillips should be rostered in all DT-required leagues, but it doesn’t hurt to check on his availability.
D.J. Wonnum is a good option at edge rusher for deeper leagues. He has four sacks on the year and a decent tackle floor if you are needing some edge rusher help.
Josh Metellus should not be on the waivers in most leagues and is worth checking into. He is still playing as the second linebacker next to Jordan Hicks.
IDP Takeaways Atlanta Falcons
David Onyemata has quietly made his way up to a top-five scorer among defensive tackles. He just put together his best game of the season with 10 combined tackles and one sack, and he forced a fumble. He has been the only consistent Atlanta defensive lineman and should be rostered in all DT-required leagues.
Nathan Landman racked up 10 total tackles, two tackles for a loss, one pass deflection, and his first career sack against the Vikings. He now has as many sacks as fellow linebacker Kaden Elliss just like we all predicted this season. Landman has been really solid as a starter, and he has at least eight tackles in the last six games.
Jessie Bates and Richie Grant both had really nice games this week. Both totaled eight tackles, but it was Grant who outpaced Bates in pass deflections 2-1. Bates has scored more fantasy points than Grant on the season as a whole, but they both have been productive and startable in most weeks. Looking ahead to next week’s matchup against Arizona, the Cardinals are giving up the ninth most points to safeties. Expect Bates and Grant to have another good week as Kyler Murray looks to make his season debut.
IDP Waiver Wire Atlanta Falcons
David Onyemata is still being overlooked in DT-required leagues and he should be rostered. He is a top-five DT right now.
Calais Campbell has three sacks in his last four games. He is worth some consideration in leagues that are starting multiple DTs.
A.J. Terrell has not been a very reliable streaming option this season, but Jeff Okudah has been giving some solid tackle games lately. With Kyler Murray’s return potentially opening up Arizona’s passing attack, Okudah could be a decent streaming option next week.
Seattle Seahawks at Baltimore Ravens

Mafe continues his hot streak
Boye Mafe is turning into an elite rusher in the league, recording his sixth straight game with a sack (second consecutive with a fumble recovered). It should be noted that Mafe did see his lowest snap percentage since week 4, but this was most likely influenced by the team being boat-raced. Assuming his snaps do not continue to slip, he is a locked-in play most weeks.
You can probably break up with Love
Julian Love played less than 40% of snaps this week, his lowest on the season (including a game he left with injury). He did produce on limited snaps, but if he is just a part-time player, he cannot be played in shallower leagues. Jamal Adams played almost 90% of his snaps in the box/slot, taking away Love’s damaged value.
The stars still produced
20 combined tackles between Jordyn Brooks and Bobby Wager plus another half-dozen from rookie Devon Witherspoon. Even in a blowout, the top guys can be expected to perform and produce. Witherspoon again played every snap and around two-thirds of those came from the slot, which is great for him.
IDP Waiver Wire Seattle Seahawks
Leonard Williams played over half of the snaps in his first game as a Seahawk. He did not add much to the stat sheet, but if his usage grows, it will follow.
Darrell Taylor continues to be the second rusher on the team, leading with 62% of snaps on the day.
IDP Takeaways Baltimore Ravens
This pass rush isn’t fair
19 pressures (per PFF) on the day between Odafe Oweh, Justin Madubuike, Jadeveon Clowney, and Kyle Van Noy. 19! None of those players saw more than 61% of snaps. Mike MacDonald is dialing up pressure looks in absurd ways, and this mix of youth and veteran mercenaries is making life hell for opposing QBs. Someone get Geno Smith some ice!
Not many tackle stats on the day
The Ravens had one of the most dominant defensive performances of the season this week, unfortunately, that killed their fantasy values (minus the pass rushers). Patrick Queen led the team in tackles with 6… not great for fantasy. This is an outlier for everyone, from a tackle standpoint, don’t worry too much about it.
Geno Stone… you are leading the league in INTs!
Geno Stone has been balling out this year, mostly in relief. He has carved a real role out, even when the defense gets back to full strength.
IDP Waiver Wire Baltimore Ravens
Odafe Oweh needs to be picked up, if out there. He is back to a lead role, co-leading the team in EDGE snaps. He is breaking out this season and you should jump in on that.
Arthur Maulet has been seeing a lot of time as the slot corner recently, so could be grabbed in deeper CB leagues due to his role.
Arizona Cardinals at Cleveland Browns

IDP Takeaways Arizona Cardinals
Budda Baker showed that he is fully healthy in his third game back from injury. He delivered with 10 tackles on 73 snaps which was 100% of the snaps. This is his third straight double-digit scoring game since returning.
Kyzir White continued his double-digit scoring in every game this season. He has not missed a snap this year and his floor tackle game this season is five with two of them being for a loss. He added another 7 tackles (3 solo) and 1 tackle for a loss last week.
Josh Woods is filling in nicely next to White with his 85% of snaps. He produced 6 tackles (2 solo) and a .5 sack. This is his fifth straight game with a majority of snaps at the LB position. He has also produced at least four tackles in all of those games.
IDP Waiver Wire Arizona Cardinals
Kevin Strong is a DT that you will want to claim or at least keep an eye on, especially in DT-required leagues. He played 49-58% of the snaps in his previous four games played. Strong missed Week 8 due to a shoulder injury. Last week brought him 23 snaps in his return to the field. He produced 6 tackles with 5 of them being solo tackles in those limited snaps. Strong was on a good run in his 3 games before injury as he posted a combined 11 tackles (6 solo), 2 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, and 1 fumble recovery.
Dante Stills is a rookie DT that you will want to add to your watch list. His last two games have Stills posting 5 tackles in each. Add in 2 tackles for a loss and 1.5 sacks on 32-42 snaps, and you have an option for your DT-required leagues.
IDP Takeaways Cleveland Browns
Grant Delpit played just 43 snaps last week which was his lowest output of the season thus far. It was still good enough for 82% of the snaps and enough snaps for him to post 10 tackles (8 solo), 1 tackle for a loss, and .5 sack. This was his best game of the season.
Myles Garrett continues his sack streak with his third straight game with a sack. It was also his 6th game with a sack out of 8 games played. He also had a fumble recovery and a pass defended in this last game. Needless to say, you never sit Garrett!
Dalvin Tomlinson has been playing over 60% of the snaps on average for the year, and last week was his best week this season. He had 4 tackles (2 solo), 2 tackles for a loss, and 2.5 sacks. He won’t do this every week, but this DT can do it and deserves consideration in your DT-required leagues.
IDP Waiver Wire Cleveland Browns
Denzel Ward is a CB who should be on your roster with the way he is scoring lately. He plays the majority of snaps and has three straight double-digit scoring games. This is after starting the year off with three straight also. This past week, Ward had 3 tackles (2 solo), 2 passes defended, and 1 interception. He now has 25 tackles (21 solo), 1 tackle for a loss, 1 forced fumble, 9 passes defended, and 2 interceptions.
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah played 26 snaps last week which was good for 50%. He has 4 straight games of 4-5 tackles (3 solo) and 1 tackle for a loss in 3 of the 4 games. It is always nice to have a player with a tackle floor of 4 and a ceiling of 8 tackles with a couple being for a loss and even 1 sack, if not more. He will always give you points, it’s just a question of how many points.
Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers
